Chapter Seven

Jessie slumped forward onto Denver. He lifted her off Jackson and cradled her in his arms. She looked over at Austin, still behind his desk, and didn’t see even a hint that they’d moved him an inch to changing his mind. Her incredible climax retreated at a breakneck pace, and her shivers of afterglow turned to trembles of dread.

“Shh, pet. This isn’t over.” A glimmer of hope popped inside her as Austin stood up. He held out his hand to her. “Let Jessie down, Denver.”

She wondered what he had in mind but knew whatever it might be, she would be unable to resist. She waited for Denver to lower her to the floor so she could go to him, but Denver held her tight.

“Why should I let her?” he asked Austin.

“Please, Sir. We still have a chance if you let me down.”

Denver gazed at her for the longest time, nodded, and then released her.

Jessie walked over to Austin, who was now in full-on Master mode. His fixed dark eyes seemed to see into her soul. He touched the collar he’d given her. “Kneel.”

She obeyed instantly, folding her hands behind her back and looking down at her lap as he’d instructed her in his dungeon before.

“You see this, brothers. This is Jessie. This is what she needs. Me. You tried to convince me, and I must say I’m impressed. Now, let me show you what I bring to her.”

“If she’s okay with it, then I am,” Jackson said behind her.

The other three agreed, too.

Jessie’s body began to vibrate. This wasn’t a pissing match at all. They all wanted her.

“So, what do you say, pet? You game?” Austin’s voice vibrated against her skin, and she loved it.

The younger four wanted him to believe they could be the kind of men she needed. Austin wanted them to see him as the only one that could be that man. One man. A part of her thought Austin might be the one, but deep down, Jessie knew she needed the others, too.

As selfish as it seemed to Jessie, by God, it was the truth.

She didn’t need a single melody to make her happy. Her five cowboys could provide a concert of physical and emotional music she needed. Jackson was like a light dance tune you couldn’t get out of your head. Phoenix was a love ballad that made you cry. Dallas was the serious marching song that you hummed all day long. Denver was the big symphony number that filled every space of air in a hall. And Austin was the crescendo. The big finish.

Still looking down at her lap, Jessie answered, “I’m game, Master.”

Austin cupped her chin and lifted it slightly until her eyes gazed into his deep, dark orbs. “Pet, I’m going to push you hard. Really hard.”

“I know,” she said as bravely as she could muster.

The ball was in her court. Austin had said he was impressed with the brothers’ handling of her. Now, if the other four could see she responded to his twenty-four-seven BDSM ways…well, she prayed they all would see the light.
